Bhoomithan’s first project, initiated on June 5, 2022, in collaboration with Laxmi Cares and Clean up Nepal, involved planting 400 trees. The long-term plan aimed at restoring ecosystems in Nepal’s urban areas, incorporating the Miyawaki Method, continued in June 2023 with partnerships with organizations like Revolution Project, Women in Nature Network, The Jane Goodall Institute Nepal, and Division Forest Office, Kathmandu.
Sourced from the District Forest Office, 500 saplings of 19 different native trees were planted using the Miyawaki method, ensuring rapid growth and dense plantations for at least three years.
